A Virtuous Woman
WHO can find a virtuous woman — HER Price is FAR ABOVE rubies
Gentlemen, you cannot find her on your own Doesn’t matter how many rubies you have, you can’t buy her for gold or money.
Does it matter? Why would a gentleman desire a virtuous woman instead of a Delilah? Well, will look at a cup of Java and try.
This is a good good reason right here:
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her … Think about it. A virtuous woman is one the heart of a husband will safely trust in. That’s a fairly powerful reason. [pass on to young men in the valley of decision from grocery store clerks to professors]
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. GOOD all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is NOT lazy. She works willingly.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household. She takes care of her household. As it is written, every wise woman builds her house.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. I may lose some men here . She is not asking her husband if she should buy it, though she may consult him. SHE considereth a field and buys it. She also has the means to buy it! She is Educated about the things of life. She is not ignorant. And if you remember: The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her… he is not losing sleep over her decision-making ability. SHE is STRONG while still being nurturing. You know, HOW the HOLY SPIRIT nurtures us to do right. STRONG. Some of you may actually get that. You could give me scripture for it. This though, just an overview.
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. This is no weak silly girl. She IS a strong woman.
Some Key Qualities to help identify a virtuous woman
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is hands on when ministering to the poor, the needy. It’s called character. Young men are having lightbulbs going off in their head . Character. Hmmm.
In closing, this after all is only a small short treatise:
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Young men, note, the LAW OF KINDNESS is upon HER Tongue. Listen for it as you are in the valley of decision. The Law of Kindness is upon Her Tongue. One way to find a virtuous woman … lastly, she does NOT eat the bread of idleness. As mentioned above, she works Willingly with Her Hands.
For those men out there, who find this tract — consider what happens if you do not join yourself to a virtuous woman. Delilah will see that your hair is cut, and that you lose all strength. [Book of Judges from chapter 16 Tanach]
