Messiah High Priest
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

He did not enter in with any of our works. No money we gave to beadchaim, no how good a mother she is, no how often you’ve fellowshipped with the saints…
NOTHING of YOU and I enabled the entering in.
BUT By His Own Blood… into THE Holy Place…. Obtained Eternal Redemption for YOU
Eternal Redemption obtained FOR YOU [outside of your own efforts]
No room for vanity, certainly no room for self-righteousness

Having focused on repentance from dead works, wanted to highlight Faith TOWARDS God…. Not towards our works etc.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
He alone is the Alpha as well as the Omega
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Whether we live or die, we are to be looking FOR Him. If we die, perhaps in what will seem like the blink of an eye, the dead in Christ Shall Rise FIRST….
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
