If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
It does NOT say to set YOUR affection upon political parties.
It really doesn’t. Yes, we do have a responsibility to vote if we are in a country that permits voting.
But do YOU set your affection – the bowels of your heart! Upon the right to vote??
If YOU then be Risen with Christ
SEEK those Things which ARE above
WHERE Christ [Messiah] sitteth on the right hand of Elohim [Almighty Creator]
HE is not left wing right wing D R etc. HE IS an Absolute Monarch. Not even a democracy to those who may (worship) democracy. There is NO democracy in heaven.
Reading from brother Isaiah
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end
There is ONLY ONE government we bow our knee to.
Only as HE would call you to be light inside any political party, would you do so.
The Government is UPON HIS Shoulder. Period.
And THAT government tells us:
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
SEEK those Things which ARE above
WHERE Christ [Messiah] sitteth on the right hand of Elohim [Almighty Creator]

We should ask ourselves, look in that mirror — WHAT have we set our affections on?
Do we even know?
